Paul, might I suggest putting the kick plate back on the bed and then taking the picture. That bed looks to be in pieces, and doesn't present itself well to a prospective buyer. If I was looking to buy a 2003 silver bullet, I'd be more interested in the other one listed here and for the same price. This is just a suggestion to make your bed more appealing.

Thanks for the advice I do understand what you are saying. I had pictures on my camera and it was lost with my luggage, so the only picture I had was one I took of it with my camera phone before we put the kick plate on.

It is very sad, when newbies to the business use this forum as a trustworthy place to learn and you see dealers / sellers going back and forth. It makes it extremely, extremely difficult to discern whom to trust..that being said it also makes us look other places for information and other ways to purchase items we need.

True nuf Tan4love!
There are vocal disreputable sellers/dealers ... squeezed by the same forces that have consolidated the entire industry. Salon owners and equipment dealers aren't seeing volume and easy money of past years so we have to work harder. A sure red flag is the "no tire kickers!" comment. Interesting that they compare themselves to used car dealers. I'm not saying Livetime Tans is slippery in any way ... I have no idea. He' Likely selling his beds at pennies on what he paid for them and wants market value. Though, It's also likely that those beds have served him well for many years and aren't new anymore. That all being said, an old style Silver Bullet in good condition will be very popular at any salon, especially if they don't have a huge glamorous VHR. It'll bring in money. Tim |

^^ There are plenty of tire kickers out there and plenty of people who want muscle others out of their equipment because they think they are desperate to sell. I've seen some post on nearly every single for sale thread making low ball offers well below market value trying to steal something.
How many of those low ballers actually buy something? My guess is none considering they continue to post on just about every thread they can see. Some people just like to window shop. |
