I am debating on one of these three beds to replace my Starpower for my "level 3" section of my salon. What do you like the best and why. They are all close to the same price.
2008 Ergoline Affinity 500 2008 KBL 5600 2010 ETS Legend 448 (I know most haven't tanned on one yet I'm going on what I have read so far. I am going to check them out in a week or so.) Any thoughts??? |

Hands Down Ergoline 500 heres why,
The bed- Parabolic facials, these will out perform the vertical clip-ins the other beds offer. over fit and finish, The beds are really easy to install and work on, hinged acrylics top and bottom singled ended high pressure facials for quick lamp changes. Appearence (imo) is still better than the other 2, Alot more wow factor. The company behind the equipment- Jk is one of the strongest companies in the tanning industry. They wont be dissappearing anytime soon. Parts are always available, Tech support is awesome and they always answer immediately. My reasons to rule out the other 2 beds, ETS - I generally just dont like the company (my opinon only) But the new beds do look interesting and would consider them after a year or two on the market. Just so the electronic ballast system has all the bugs worked out. KBL KBL makes a nice bed but I wanted to see a bigger company supporting the equipment in the united states. Also I wasnt big on the appearence of the equipment but overall very well built equipment. So you know what my pick is out of the ones you mentioned....BUT You should take a very hard look at the UWE Silver Bullet With this bed you get 44 160 watt body lamps 3 600 watt parabolic facials Air conditioning Water misters high pressure shoulder tanners (that actually work) And all this for the same price or less than the other beds. PC Marketing - uwe SilverBullet and this is a BIG bed appearence wise nice accent lighting etc I know with the ergoline you have to go to the 600 for a/c im pretty sure the kbl doesnt have a/c I know the Ets doesnt By the way I don't sell Beds. But I just purchased 2 IBEDS from PC and had a really good experience. They are great people to work with Talk to Paul Manke at Pc Marketing at least give him a shot at the deal. |

UWE Silver Bullet SE is $29k retail, I found a 2007 for around $16k. Before I spend that knid of money I will have to tan in one. Do any of you have one? Do you feel there is a lot of wow factor? Im looking for something with some curb appeal thats why I was leaning towards Ergoline?? Anyone have a used Silver Bullet?

Trust me if you see the bullet in person it has tons of curb appeal ever better than the ergoline (imo) due to the fact its a bigger bed size wise.
I know someone by me with 4 of them and gets $20 a single but thats by me (se Michigan) |

YUP....bed looks great in person.
I have owned then in our salons. I have sold them new to a few salons. I have tanned in them many times Great bed for the money......maybe not at 29K but I'm sure there is some wiggle room......Give me a call anytime and I will see what I can do. |

even at half that ^^^ you can find a High Pressure unit. But still, a good VHR rocks the world too. i just would'nt spend $14,500 on a silver bullet. you don't have to spend that much for a decent VHR. (used)

His salesman was giving me retail at $29k they have a brand new one from the show with all the options that they will sell for $16,999 he also told me where I can check one out locally so I may go try one out over the weekend to see what I think.

Well I tanned in a Silver Bullet SE last night, The bed seemed well built and the facials/shoulder lamps kicked ass. The lp lamps just seemed ok it may have needed a lamp change (I didnt take my meter) Overall the bed was nice but the curb appeal wasn't even close to a Ergoline or KBL. Right now I think the Ergoline is my favorite I am going to Indianapolis next Friday to check out the new Legend and make a decision.
