If you had the chance to choose between a Futuresun and a 650, which one would you choose?

I know I'd be getting the support I need, the results my clients want, and re-lamps would probably be cheaper.

Get the GATE hands down and run it with the Supra lamps. Still meter in the 60's on a 5.0 after 200Hrs and not being overdriven either. No other bed can do that.

RobertK- I am in Kentucky.
I am still taking notes . I'm leaning towards the Gate, will rethink my levels, and invest in better HP asap. The gap between the Tropicals and the Gate is pretty large as someone else mentioned.

Yes. You can easily fit another level between them. Pickup a gate and a smaller VHR and you will be all set for now. Call me tomorrow....I think we are getting a Gate in.
