Hey guys & gals, I understand your frusteration with the bad ethics of the telemarketers of squeeze and the other lines from the parent company. I'm not making any excuses for them but basically they are experiencing the same thing we all are... work ethics are M.I.A. all across the nation and turn over of employees is at the highest it has ever been. I have been telling the managers of the parent company who sell these lotion lines out of Florida for years they need to have better inner office training of their telemarketers but they are trying to keep prices down for us and in the process are dealing with a limited budget from the head hancho. *shrug* I have had great relationships with my sales reps from the parent company of all of the lines they sell for many many years. The best way to deal with them is to get one person you like, tell them you will talk ONLY to them. Ask corperate to delete your salon phone number from the data base and ask only your personal sales reps from each line to keep your number stored personally. My sales rep from RSun, Scott, has my home number and personal cell numbers and he never abuses them. He knows what I like to stock, what my build to quanities are, and when and how often to call me. I have had a terrific relationship with the company that sells all these lotion lines for over a dozen years and because they are the manufacturer and not the vendor they give us great prices to make insane profits off their lotions. I guess what I am saying is ... call and ask to talk to the manager of the lines you like to carry and ask that you buy only from them if you can't find a rep you like, or until you find a rep you like. There are some reps that have been on board there for years, but unfortunately not very many. So with a little firm tactics, and some good communication, you can make bank profits off of these lotions... don't write them off as a bad company because they sell manufacturer direct and hire some shady characters to telemarket their "goo" If you try my idea and you still aren't getting the results you want I'd be happy to help you. PM me and I will take care of making sure that the corperate office hears and respects your wishes. I have no affiliation with the company but I do know some of them really well after doing business with them for well over a decade. Oh and did I mention I stole one of RSun's #1 salesmen? Yep I married my lotion sales rep! LOL!!! He quit and moved from Florida to Oregon and we have been doing the whole "happily ever after" thing since 2001 ![]() p.s. HA! Alan, love the sig bud! What if you're happy with the lotions you carry now and don't want to purchase from them? I don't see a solution to that. You seem like a very nice person but when you ask someone to stop calling you it should be the last time you talk to them. Noone should operate this way - regardless of circumstances.

I carried them long before I met my hubby. They offer us something not many lotions companies do anymore. They offer us a HUGE selection of lotions to buy manufacturer direct. Cutting out the vendor i.e. the middle man means you and I make more money! Other than a few products over the years that had an unpopular smell, the quality of the lotion is great. The ingredient list is of high salon professional quality. They add up to 5 of the L-Tyrosines into each lotion and all in the top 10 on the ingredient list! Most of them are aloe based so they are very moisturising too. Example: you could buy a bottle of California Tan's or Designer Skin's #1 lotion that retails for $75 but you had to pay $37.50 for it....so you make a profit of $37.50 on each bottle OR You could buy a bottle say for instance: OC Over Confident from Scott at RSun 800-204-9911 that I retail for $89 (you can retial for whatever you wish) and I get to make a 400% profit. You do the math... it really is a no brainer. I also sell the Squeeze line, the Millennium line, the L.A.X line, the Rio line, the PURE line, and the Devoted Creations line. (Devoted Creations & PURE you do have to purchase via a vendor, Call Amy at T.W. Tanning supply and tell her Jaime in Oregon sent you to her and she can give you a 'healthy' discount form the catalog listed price.) ![]() Best wishes to all for prosperity and success! Peace, Love, & Sunshine! __________________ __________________________ Thinking Heavenly Thoughts... ~*~Angelique~*~ aka Jaime B. Mostly because they have no need to HARASS you. You are doing a fine job of trying to turn lemons into lemonade but it will end as soon as the next call comes in. Also, your profit comparison isn't accurate (at least with my distributor). I pay 25% of retail on products I actually like. I'll take a 300% profit on something I can actually sell versus a 400% profit on a bottle of "goo". I applaud your efforts but at the end of the day their business practices are atrocious and they interfere with the daily operations of the salon. Your suggestion as I see it is Buy from then and create a relationship so they don't have to call you all the time. I'm sure they would love that but it aint gonna happen. It's borderline blackmail IMO. |

I can buy a bottle of DC Trinity (or whatever the one someone found on Ebay) for $3 -- and retail it for whatever I want. Heck - I can pay my normal price of $25 for CT7 -- and sell it for $150 if I want. From what I know of the Squeeze/Millenium/Rio harassment -- I "get" to buy it at one price -- if I buy 48 at once, with nary a sample first to see if it is any good! And -- even in this thread -- "the price is this ...oops, nope - it's this" It just comes down to what sort of companies you want to do business with. The PEOPLE working there may be great. But SOMEBODY is "calling the shots" to operate in a harassing manner -- and at that point, I wouldn't care if the products were the Fountain of Youth in a bottle! |

Henry, for example, may be a nice guy. But, the guys across and down the hall are jackasses. Again, why would anybody reward their tactics by supporting the "parent company" in any way? Buying Devoted Creations is the same as buying Squeeze. Hell, it seems even buying MR International (what a lousy brandname) is the same as buying Squeeze. When you lay with dogs, you get fleas.
