Default ITA Show Berman & Co Meeting

I wanted to get the word out. Rally we will try Bill!

Hello Alan,

The Berman presentation will be held in the Bayou D room at 4:00pm on Saturday. The ITA is requesting that anyone planning on attending please email John Overstreet (ITA Executive Director) so that we can plan appropriately for seating. Attendee names should be emailed to John at joverstreet@theita.com

It is important that we have the support of the salon community as well as the distribution and manufacturing sectors if this program is to succeed. Anything you can do to rally the salons around this proactive initiative will certainly be appreciated.

Bill

I am sure you have already heard the buzz concerning the Berman and Company PR firm that the ITA has contracted with to assist our industry in strengthening our perception both with the public and the legislative sectors.

For those of you who were unable to attend the standing room only presentation on Saturday evening at the ITA Tanning World Expo in Nashville, we are extremely pleased with both the excitement Rick Berman and his team have generated and with the monetary pledges we have acquired thus far from those in attendance.

Attached is a list of organizations represented at the presentations along with their generous pledges. If you have not yet seen Rick Berman’s 60 minutes excerpts, I urge you to take a moment and review this link. http://bermanandcompany.com

If you have not yet had the opportunity to participate in what will be known as the single most effective PR campaign our industry has ever undertaken, now is the time to sign up. You and your organization have been chosen to help represent our cause because of your commitment to our industry through your past generosity and participation in our industry events.

We are counting on your participation in this event and are convinced you will be proud to be a noted contributor. To see a list of those who have already contributed go to www.theita.com and click on BERMAN and COMPANY SPECIAL MEDIA RELATIONS FUND. The ITA already has over $400,000 pledged to support this campaign but to maximize success we need everyone to support the campaign. (2000 salons X $50 per month X 12 months = $1,200,000) Imagine our success if we could get the support of 5000 salons.

If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to contact the ITA at admin@theita.com (202-367 1142) or one of the below listed committee members.

Sincerely,
Rob Quinn rob@tanprousa.com

Hello Fellow Tanning Industry Members,

Thought I would send out an update on the progress of the ITA Proactive Public Relations Campaign with the Berman Company. Since the kick off of the fund raising campaign at Nashville members of the industry have pledged approximately $450,000 to support the 2008 campaign. Many thanks to those that have already pledged and to those that haven't made a pledge yet please review the list below of those members of our industry that feel this is a worthwhile endeavor. We need everyone's support if we want to maximize the success of this proactive advertising campaign so that we can insure the vitality of our industry.

If you have questions about the campaign please give the ITA a call 202-367-1225 or check out the ITA website for continual updates on the campaigns progress at www.theita.com

Thanks for your consideration,

Bill Pipp
